# Travelist

> Travelist is a free travel tracker and to do list app for phone, tablet and web. People log the trips they have taken and the ones coming up, the cities they visited and the activities they did, and Travelist builds their world map and travel statistics. It also keeps travel to do lists, packing lists, grocery lists and bucket lists, and sends a reminder 5 days before each trip and on the day it starts.

Travelist is useful for anyone who wants a countries visited tracker, a travel journal, a trip planner with reminders, or a simple to do list, task list or grocery list for trips. It is free, installs from the browser like an app, and works offline.

## What people can do

- Log past trips and upcoming trips with start and end dates, or just a month when they don't remember the day
- Log cities visited, each with a date, linked to a trip
- Log activities with a date: hiking, adventure sports, temples, historic sights, beaches, museums and art, food and drink, wildlife and nature, water sports, nightlife, shopping, road trips, or a custom type
- See a world map of countries and territories visited, out of 195, and continents, out of 7, with India shown with its official boundaries
- Mark the 28 Indian states, 8 Indian union territories and 50 US states they have visited
- Keep lists: trip to dos, packing lists, grocery lists, bucket lists and blank lists, with items they tick off
- Get push reminders 5 days before a trip and on the morning it starts, at a chosen local time
- See reports: trips by year, days away, most visited country, activities by type, and download CSV files
- Create a 9 by 16 share image of their map and stats for Instagram Stories or Reels
- Connect Claude through the Travelist connector so Claude can add, update or remove trips, cities, activities, lists and list items, and read their own data for dashboards

## Claude connector

- Address: https://travelist.example.com/mcp (remote MCP server, Streamable HTTP)
- Sign in: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration. Each person signs in and approves the connection themselves.
- Access: a connection can only read and change the data of the person who approved it. People can disconnect it in Travelist under You.
