TravelistPrivacy Policy
The short version: your travel data is yours. We use it to run Travelist for you and nothing else.

What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and profile photo from the way you sign in.
- Your travel data: the trips, cities, activities, lists and states you add, including dates and notes.
- Settings: your time zone and reminder time, so reminders arrive in your morning.
- Notification tokens: a code for each device where you turn on reminders, so we can deliver them.
- Connections: if you connect Claude or another app, a record of that connection and when it was last used.
- Consent: the date you agreed to these terms and this policy.
How we use it
Only to run Travelist for you: to show your trips, map, lists and reports, to send the reminders you asked for, to let apps you connect act on your behalf, and to keep the service secure. We don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, and we don’t use your data to train AI models.
Apps you connect, including Claude
When you connect Claude to Travelist, you sign in and approve the connection yourself. Claude then gets a token that only works for your account, so it can read and change your own Travelist data when you ask it to. It can never reach anyone else’s data. Disconnect it under You at any time and the token stops working straight away. What Claude does with information it reads is covered by Anthropic’s own privacy terms.
Who processes your data
Travelist runs on our own web server and database. If you sign in with Google, Google’s Firebase Authentication shows the account picker and tells us your name, email address and photo. Trip reminders travel through your browser’s own notification service (run by Google, Apple or Mozilla, depending on your device) and arrive encrypted, so those services can’t read them. Emails such as sign in links are sent from our own mail server. Fonts load from Google Fonts, and map shapes and code libraries load from public content networks. Each of these services sees only what it needs to do its job.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete something it’s removed. When you delete your account, all your data is removed, apart from server backups that are overwritten on their normal schedule. Your password is stored only in scrambled form that can’t be turned back into the original.
Your choices and rights
- Download everything from You, then Download everything.
- Correct anything by editing it in the app.
- Turn off reminders for any trip, or block notifications in your browser.
- Disconnect Claude or any other app under You.
- Delete your account from You, then Delete my account.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights to access, correct, move or erase your data. Email us and we’ll help.
Children
Travelist isn’t meant for children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
